Europe Trip!!

I got invited to go to Alaska with People to People, but once me and my friend Sarah found out that we could either go to Alaska or Europe we both signed up for the Europe trip. Our interviews were Sunday and I just got my call back last night. I got in! We are both going to Europe for three weeks this summer. WOO! I have to raise 6,000 dollars in order to go. I better get to work. :)

Nerd Convention

I'm in Atlanta for a technology conference. Right now the keynote speaker is just now coming out onto the stage. He is the writer of the technology column of the New York Times. He says that 2007 is the year that cellphones and the interenet really started evolving. He is now discussing Voice Over IP.

Love is the Movement.

Just a simple act of love could change a person's life. Once they know love they can share it with someone else. Show them God's love for them and that WILL change their life. He loves us more than anyone on this Earth ever could. His love is unfailing and everlasting. His love can lift anyone's spirit. Some people that don't know love and don't receive it just need to be told how much "a certain someone" loves them. It WILL change their life.

Moths to the Flame

We are supposed to be a light that shines for the glory of God. The brighter we shine the more people can see God in us. The "lost" people are like moths, they are drawn to the light. They need the Lord. If our light for the Lord shines bright we will attract moths and they will see the Lord in us and the difference he has made in our life. We need to catch on fire for the Lord so people will see him in us. We can make a difference in someone's life.

Words like Nature

Words can't always describe perfectly, but sometimes a simple word can reveal the real person. God is revealed in nature. Nature is His work of art, his Mona Lisa. Its there for everyone to see and admire. Society conceals God. People say and do things that destroys everything He stands for and created. But, in the heart of a forest you can feel Him in His work. People can't always be described with words. They can have some of their deepest and most secret thoughts in the heart of a forest because they do not have to be afraid of what other people think of them. They can be their true selves, with God.

Saturn has a Ring Around it.

You never see Saturn with your own eyes to know that theres a ring around it. You don't even know that its real. You rely on what you hear, what you see in pictures, and the news. For all we know NASA could have made up the whole solar system as a publicity stunt yet we believe that it is all true just because they told us it is. Thats faith in something man has told you.
Jesus is the same; he wants you to have faith in him even if you are just reading it from a book. But thats not all, you can feel the Holy Spirit with you. You can just walk out your door in the morning and realize how great a God He is. He created this earth for you and me. He loves you more than anyone else could no matter what they say. They are only human; they make mistakes but God doesn't. He loves you no matter what. An undying love.

Faith in things that we are told by man may not always be true yet we believe it. Faith in God is never wrong or untrue. He is REAL.
